Minimum Age Requirement
The minimum age requirement to be considered for acceptance is 14 years old.
Injury Disclaimer
Kogawa Bushido Kai and any person, organization, or Martial Art affiliated with the Kogawa Budo, LLC cannot be held responsible for any injury incurred during classes or training. It is the responsibility of the student and their family to have adequate insurance to cover any potential injury. Young adults under the age of 18 must have a parent or representative present at all classes or training.
In a Traditional Martial Art it is required that the instructor physically guide the student to align foot position, hand position, and posture.
A student’s and their parent’s acceptance into and continuation in the Kogawa Bushido Kai is directly related to that student’s honesty, respect, and effort. Each student’s participation in the Kogawa Bushido Kai is at the complete discretion of the instructors of Kogawa Bushido Kai.
Clothing Requirements
Gi – karate uniform, white cotton, only
Obi – belt, white
