Kogawa Bushido Kai Lineage

Chokki Motobu was instructed primarily by Choyu Motobu, Ankoh Itosu, Kosaku Matsumura, Sakuma Peichin, Sokon Matsumura, Kunigami Peichin, and Tokumine Peichin.

Kenwa Mabuni was primarily instructed by Ankō Yasutsune Itosu, Higaonna Kanryō. Seishō Aragaki, Tawada Shimboku, Sueyoshi Jino and Wu Xianhui (Go-Kenki).

Kosei Kuniba was instructed primarily by Chokki Motobu.
