Sho-ha Shorin Ryu Training

May 24, 2014 by kogawabushidokai

Incense

We visited Mr. John Hamilton last week for training. We reviewed the Pinan, Sanchin, Wanshu, Seisan, Naihanchi Sho and Ni Kata. As well as reviewing Nito Tenshin ryu Tachi-Kata and waza. The training was focused on Tai Sabaki and Mushin (無心) – controlling yourself and remaining physically and psychologically calm/relaxed. It was a pleasure as always to train with Mr. Hamilton and his students. We recommend, if you are afforded the opportunity, to train with Mr. Hamilton.

He will be visiting Kogawa Bushido Kai in October 2014: dates and times to be announced.
