Sad passage….

January 3, 2014 by kogawabushidokai

I am sorry to announce Mr. Brooks A. Snider Sr., father of Mr. Brooks A. Snider Jr., Kancho/So-Shihan of Kogawa Bushido Kai, passed away at 8 am on 1/2/14. He was not a practitioner of the Martial Arts, but did possess the Spirit of Budo. He was a Korean Conflict Veteran, volunteered in the Civil Defense and was a Volunteer Fireman during the 1960s and 1970s. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener his entire life. He was renowned for the most delicious tomatoes and hottest peppers in the central Georgia area. He lived to be 81 and is survived by his wife (Shirley Snider), son, daughter (Julie Griffin), five grandchildren (Megan, Bryce, Colby, Jaydon, and Riley Kay) and two Great grandchildren (Branden and MaKinlee).
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
