Jordan Sensei Visit

July 31, 2011 by kogawabushidokai

Kogawa Bushido Kai had a fantastic training session with Mr. Jordan from approximately 11:30 am until 3:00 pm, Saturday, 7/30/11. We reviewed Matsukaze and Jutte kata. We breifly reviewed Hama Higa no Kama and no Sai, Tokomini no kun, Taira no Nunchaku Sho, and Nagashi no Jo. He discussed and demonstrated Mugai ryu iaido and some Kendo technique and philosophy. We demonstrated a few of the Itto Tenshin ryu and Nito Tenshin ryu Tachi and Kissaki kata and discussed the ryu-ha philosophies. After training we had a nice meal at the Milledgeville downtown Japanese resturant, Kuroshima.

We look foward to training with Mr. Jordan again soon.
