Mr. Jordan Visit…

June 25, 2011 by kogawabushidokai

Several members of Kogawa Bushido Kai traveled to train with Jordan, Sensei today. He corrected (Kuniba, Soke way) several movements (applications, transitions, and rhythm) of several kata: Tenno, Chino, Pinan Shodan, Pinan Nidan, Pinan Sandan, Seinchin, and Rohai. And the bunkai of Sepai kata. As well as providing insight into the history of Kuniba Shogo, James Herdon, himself, Motobu Karate-do, Motobu-ha Shito ryu, the Kuniba-kai, and Kyohinkan.

As always it was enlightening and a pleasure to train with and speak with Mr. Jordan. There are plans for Jordan, Sensei to visit Kogawa Bushido Kai later in July. The date and time will be posted in the near future.
